As the system learns about you and your intended immigration path, it will determine and generate a score on a scale of 0 to 360 based on how closely you meet important criteria for your chosen visa path. The score report is based on three factors: Human/Core Factors, Visa Programm, and Inadmissibility Factors. You may also see specific comments and notes about your eligibility on report. *

Yes, they are different. The CRS scoring system is used by the IRCC and by Canadian provinces to select candidates for permanent residence in Canada. You can determine your CRS score using our CRS Score Calculator.
We consider scores above 252 as a good score, but it’s important to remember that scores don’t necessarily indicate a successful or unsuccessful visa application. People with low scores may have a chance to improve or even choose a different immigration path that may be more successful. For a variety of reasons, it’s also possible that people with high scores may not have their applications approved by the Canadian or US government.
