Type of Case:
Permanent residence with Humanitarian and Compassionate Considerations
Details of the Case:
The applicant and her adult daughter had been residing in Canada illegally for approximately ten years. They had submitted previous Permanent Resident Applications which were refused. They now faced deportation back to their home country from which they had previously escaped extreme hardship.
How the Firm Helped:
Within a very short amount of time the firm compiled an H+C application prior to an interview schedule with CBSA. It was anticipated that the clients would be issued removal orders at this interview so the firm had to act quickly in having the application submitted prior to an order being issued. If the Firm did not, a new H+C application would not have been processed.
Gratefully, the firm was able to submit the application prior to the interview and the clients were prepped and prepared as well as brought a copy of the submission to the interview. After the officer’s review, they decided not to proceed on a removal order until a decision was made on the now filed application. The Firm was not only successful in keeping the clients in the country but potentially acquiring permanent residence for them.
Testimonial from this client:
My lawyer, Angela, of Niren and Associates is a highly professional lawyer, along with client service manager, Giovanni. They have worked very hard on my file and both Angela and Giovanni are doing their best for a positive result for my immigration matter. They are helping me immensely, and along the way they are always keeping me updated. I am happy to have both Angela and Giovanni working together on my file.
