International Students Seeking Permanent Residence in Nova Scotia
So if you’re on a student visa and you’re studying in Nova Scotia, and you graduate and you happen to have a job offer, there’s a potential possibility that you could apply for permanent residence to Canada.
Now, I don’t know all the details yet. I’m assuming they will be forthcoming by the government. Most likely you have to have a job offer within your field, within a certain period of time after graduation, and if you do, and you’ve graduated and you’re on a student visa, you could potentially be eligible for permanent residence. This is great news for Nova Scotia international students.
