Question: What do I need to do to live permanently in Canada? There are several different ways to achieve permanent residency in Canada. The most frequented immigration programs center around employment. If you have a job offer in Canada or possess specialized skills, education or training in a specific profession or trade, you may be eligible to immigrate to Canada through one of the employment based immigration streams.
