8 In demand Businesses for E2 Visa Applicants

What kind of business should you invest in? The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration website explains that, as a TN visa applicant, you have to prove a substantial investment in a “new or existing enterprise” and that the business is an “active commercial or entrepreneurial undertaking”.

The business must also be able to support you and your family or make a “significant financial contribution”. The bottom line is that you need to present a convincing argument for why your business will make money. In aid of that, here are 8 in-demand businesses you could pursue:

1. Healthy Food on the Go

Healthy Fast Food

No one wants to give up on their fast food, but people are becoming more and more aware of the damage that it does to their health and waistlines. Enter the healthy fast food restaurant, which Insider Monkey totes as the solution to diners’ desire for “food that is ready and at the same time does not compromise your health”.

Healthy Vending Machines

This surge in the public’s interest in eating healthy and quickly extends to vending machines. While fast food restaurants are great for a quick meal, Business News Daily suggests using vending machines to offer grab ‘n go healthy snacks. Vending machines in general do well when placed strategically, and offering something different from the run-of-the-mill machine could provide just the right edge.

2. Organic Beauty Products

The beauty industry is alive and well, and with the recent increase in interest in organics, beauty products are following suit. What’s more, according to Insider Monkey, discoveries of questionable ingredients in so-called organic products are leaving room for new competitors to market more authentic blends.

3. Translation

Both Business News Daily and Insider Monkey recommend the translating business for those who wish to enter an in-demand industry. With global connectivity increasing, communication across cultures is increasingly important. Many individuals and businesses need interpreters and translators to assist with both verbal and written communication to break down language barriers. And translation is an area that is expected to keep growing at an impressive rate. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in this area is projected to grow by 46% by 2022.

4. Kid-friendly Apps

Apps for kids are on Business News Daily’s list of great business ideas for 2015. Recent generations are being raised in a high-tech environment, and apps are a natural extension of children’s love of video and computer games. Add to that the fact that social media has only increased an already present tendency in kids to share what they love with their friends, and you could see a lot of success.  What’s more, parents are likely to be willing to invest in educational apps that entertain and teach their children, while kids will appreciate engaging ways of learning geared toward their interests.

5. Smartphone Repairs

A broken phone can suspend a work day or ruin plans. Our reliance on technology in our everyday lives is making those who can solve tech-related problems increasingly important. As Business News Daily and Insider Monkey point out, if you have a knack for solving technical issues with smartphones, you could have a profitable enterprise on your hands. A team of trained smartphone experts able to offer repairs at competitive rates will find a large market for their skills.

6. Caring for the Elderly: Non-medical Home Care

As the boomer population ages, home care services are in demand, according to Entrepreneur. While doctors deal with the more severe health challenges for seniors, non-medical home care services can provide solutions to issues that arise with daily living, such as mobility issues. And as Entrepreneur states, while older adults are sometimes unwilling to admit to some of the problems they are facing in their day-to-day lives, their adult children are often concerned and eager to find help.

7. Recycling

People are becoming more aware of the need to be environmentally conscious, but doing so can sometimes be inconvenient. This is where recycling services come in. While standard recycling collection covers the basics, other items like electronics and batteries can be a chore to dispose of. Business News Daily and Insider Monkey both list recycling as a great business idea for 2015.

Visa place helped me with my daughter’s sponsorship 3 years ago. Last week I contacted them for some clarification on a different matter. It was about an issue which technically was a problem of CIC’s software glitch and had nothing to do with Visa Place.
Yet Reena Sandu was assigned for my case. she helped me with enthusiasm and showed no hesitation despite me being an ex-client from 3 years ago.
I was very happy that even after 3 years of finishing business, Visa Place were respectful of their clients. Special thanks again to Reena for her enthusiasm and support.
