The Canadian Embassy in India – Chandigarh is responsible for visitor visas from Chandigarh, Haryana and Punjab. The Canadian Embassy in India – New Delhi is responsible for visitor visas from Bhutan, India and Nepal.
India is the second-biggest source country for immigrants to Canada, with almost 150,000 visas issued to Indian Nationals in 2009 alone.
