The Canadian Embassy in Jordan is also responsible for visitor visas from Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and West Bank (Palestinian Authority).

Canada has long-supported reform initiatives for improved refugee conditions, education, gender equality and human resource development in Jordan. There is a Jordanian community in Canada, with an estimated 4,000 between 1991 and 1996. However these numbers may be greater as a number of Palestinian and Lebanese immigrants also originate from Jordan.
