Toronto has been lucky enough to hold both the 2015 Pan American Games and Parapan American Games. With the result of the games being held here many people are looking to visit Canada which has been causing the Canadian Government to issue many visas.
Individuals can apply though the accreditation process if they meet Canada’s admission requirements, which are identified as either a Parapan American Games “Family Member” or “PAFM/PPFM”. The individual can go through the accreditation process where The National Olympic Committee (NOC) will provide PAFM/PPFM with an invitation to apply via the accredited visa process and submit the visa. Those who meet the requirements can also apply for a Pan Am Identity and Accreditation Card (PIAC), those that don’t meet the requirements can try applying for a visitor’s visa or a “Volunteer Attestation Letter”, from the Toronto Pan Am Organizing Committee (TO2015). Workers for the games must apply for either a visitor’s visa or a work permit, whichever is applicable. Going to be an exciting summer!
