US Economic Woes means Opportunities: US Business Visas for Canadians

It would be interesting to chart the correlation of the US economic situation and the number of US business visa applications and visa approvals.  At first thought it would seem that, with economic tough times in the United States, people would hesitate to expand their business in the US and apply for an L1 Visa , or otherwise, want to invest money into a business and obtain an E2 Visa or E1 Visa.However, we have not seen a slowdown in these applications. In fact in times of economic  slowdowns, it may be the best time to purse a US business, as business costs in the US will be cheaper for Canadian applicants and there may be more opportunities with less competition.  Fadi, US Immigration Counsel
