While many parts of Canada are popular tourist destinations in the summer and even year-round, not just anyone can come and visit Canada. There are countries whose citizens require a visa, and countries whose citizens do not require a visa to come to Canada. Applying for a visitor visa in Canada
In order to come to Canada on a visitor visa, you’ll need to apply for one. In doing so, you will have to have several supporting documents and you will need to be able to demonstrate several different things to Canadian immigration authorities before you are approved. 
For example, applicants must have a valid travel document (passport) and be in good health – they may be subject to a medical examination.
They also must have strong ties to their home country in order to show immigration officials that they will leave Canada when their trip is over, including ties to financial assets, a job, their home and their family.
Another important thing that you need to consider when applying for a visitor visa to Canada is that you can prove you have enough money to last you through to the end of your trip. You will need to demonstrate that you have enough money to leave the country and discuss where you will be staying, such as with friends or in a hotel (which is more expensive).
In some cases, applicants will need a letter of invitation from someone who lives in Canada.
