The BCPNP added more approved communities to the list for the BC PNP Regional Entrepreneur program, which began issuing invitations earlier this year.

The SINP announced the results of two Alberta Express Entry draws that took place on September 11 and 18. As well, Alberta announced that it has issued 4,378 nomination certificates so far in 2019.

The OINP announced they closed intake for the Employer Job Offer stream since the intake limit has reached the yearly cap.

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) invited several candidates with experience as Carpenters (NOC 7271) in the Labour Market Priorities stream. Find out more about the NSNP September 20 Draw.

The SINP has introduced major expansions to the list of occupations eligible for the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand streams.

The NSNP announced the results of draws that took place on Sept 6, invited candidates from both the Entrepreneur and International Graduate Entrepreneur streams of the NSNP.

Alberta Provincial Nominee Program announced the results of an Alberta Express Entry draw that took place on August 28. As well, Alberta announced that it has issued 4,115 nomination certificates so far in 2019.

Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program launched the new Labour Market Priorities for Physicians stream targeting physicians with Express Entry profiles and job offers in Nova Scotia

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Programannounced the results of an August 15 draw that invited 360 candidates, including 32 Express Entry candidates, to apply to the MPNP, with invitations issued under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, the International Education stream, and the Skilled Workers Overseas stream.

Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program invited bilingual (French & English) Express Entry candidates in a draw for the Labour Market Priorities Stream.

Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program announced two new draw dates for the Entrepreneur program on Jan 7 and March 5, 2020. This is in addition to previously announced draws on Sept 5 and Nov 7, 2019.

Alberta Provincial Nominee Program announced the results of an Alberta Express Entry draw that took place on August 15. As well, Alberta announced that it has issued 3,868 nomination certificates so far in 2019.

The British Columbia Nominee Program (BCNP) invited 63 candidates including Express Entry candidates, to apply for provincial nomination under the BC PNP tech draw, with invitations issued across four categories.   Find out more about the BCPNP August 27 Draw.

The Ontario PNP announced that they are accepting applications for the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream, again. To qualify for this stream an applicant must have an eligible job offer from an Ontario employer.

The Manitoba PNP announced that they are still in the process of conducting the regular EOI draws but that the results will not be public until September 11, 2019.

Quebec PNP announced the results of the first two rounds of invitations that occurred on July 4 and July 17. There were 950 invitations issued between the two draws. The draws were conducted through the new Quebec Skilled Worker selection system, Arrima.

The British Columbia Nominee Program (BCNP) invited 61 candidates including Express Entry candidates, to apply for provincial nomination under the BC PNP tech draw, with invitations issued across four categories.   Find out more about the BCPNP August 13 Draw.

Alberta PNP announced the results of the Express Entry draws that took place on both July 31st and August 7th. They also announced that there has been 3,601 nomination certificates in 2019 so far.

The Newfoundland and Labrador opened the International Entrepreneur stream of the NLPNP for new Expressions of Interested. They will be accepting EOIs from August 9th to 15th, 2019.

Ontario held its second and largest Tech Pilot Draw on August 1, 2019. This draw offered 1773 invites to those with a cut-off CRS score of 435. Tech draws are a new Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) opportunity that falls under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.  Find out more about the OINP August 1 Draw.

The BCPNP added five new communities to the BC Entrepreneur Regional Pilot: Hope, Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako, Northern Rockies Regional Municipality, Osoyoos, and Sayward.

The New Brunswick PNP announced that the Express Entry Labour Market stream will be inviting individuals to apply directly from the Express Entry pool.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) invited 173 candidates to apply to the MPNP under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream, International Education Stream, and the Skilled Workers Overseas. Find out more about the MPNP July 18 Draw .

The government is engaging with selected rural and small community stakeholders to assess interest in the proposed pilot and to gather information about existing community immigrant attraction and retention efforts. It plans to launch in 2020.

Ontario held its first Tech Pilot Draw on July 12, 2019. This draw offered 1623 invites to those with a cut off CRS score of 439. Tech draws are a new Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) opportunity that falls under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.  Find out more about the OINP July 12 Draw.

Applications to the Quebec Experience Program’s Graduates Stream are being suspended until Nov. 1, 2019, the Government of Quebec has announced. 

Newfoundland and Labrador PNP announced a new intake round for the International Entrepreneur stream of the NLPNP. Expressions of interest will be accepted from August 9 to 15, 2019.

The British Columbia Nominee Program (BCNP) invited 218 candidates including Express Entry candidates, to apply for provincial nomination under the BC PNP, with invitations issued across five categories.   Find out more about the BCPNP July 9 Draw.

Individuals who registered Expressions of Interest under the Entrepreneur Stream and have not been invited to apply are no longer eligible. Applications under the Entrepreneur Stream received in response to Invitations to Apply issued prior to July 8, 2019, will continue to be processed based on pre-July 8, 2019 Entrepreneur Stream criteria. Invitations to apply are valid for 90 days from their date of issuance.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program introduced changes to many streams of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program. The most notable changes were to the Ontario Entrepreneur and Ontario In-Demand streams. They also announced that all candidates in the OINP Entrepreneur pool who had not yet been invited to apply have had their Expressions of Interest (EOIs) canceled.

The Alberta PNP has updated the remaining quotas for certain programs as well as its application processing times. AINP also revealed that a draw for Alberta Express Entry was conducted on June 21. Find out more about the AINP July 8 Draw.

New Brunswick announced on June 10, 2019 that they will be leading five days of information sessions in the Philippines in July to recruit new immigrants.

On June 6, Alberta announced that there are currently over 1,025 applications in their Opportunity stream. Alberta said the applications are in the queue and the immigration staff are processing applications that were received before January 22, 2019.

The BCPNP announced that they will be extending the BCPNP Tech Pilot draw for another year to provide British Columbia tech employers with the ability to recruit from foreign countries.

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) gave letters of Interest (LOI) to Express Entry candidates who have work experience in NOC 4214, Early childhood educators and assistants (ECEs). Find out more about the NSNP June 3 Draw.

Nova Scotia has unveiled a new three-year pilot stream for immigration candidates with an eligible job offer in one of its targeted intermediate-skilled occupations. The NSNP added two occupations to the in-demand occupation list: NOC 3413 — Nurses aides, orderlies and patient service associate and NOC 7511 — Transport truck drivers.

PEI PNP made two changes to the Critical Workers Stream. The first change expanded the eligible age range to 18-59 years old. The second change helped make it easier for trucking sector workers living outside Canada to be invited to apply for the PEI PNP.

Alberta PNP released new data for their Express Entry stream, showing that 197 invitations were issued under this stream in a May 15 draw; candidates with CRS scores as low as 301 have been invited.

Immigration authorities in British Columbia have added to the list of participating communities for the recently-launched BC PNP Entrepreneur Regional Pilot, with more than 40 communities now approved.

Alberta Government announced that its Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) nomination allocation for 2019 is 6,000 nominations, up from 5,600 last year. As of May 8, 1,783 nominations have been issued so far this year. Approximately 2,100 applications await assessment for eligibility. In addition, fresh Alberta Express Entry data shows that more than 3,000 invitations have been issued under this stream through 14 draws that have taken place so far this year; candidates with CRS scores as low as 300 have been invited.

The Ontario PNP reopened the OINP Masters Graduate stream for 667 new registrations. Those spots were filled quickly, and the stream is no longer accepting registrations at this time.

The Ontario PNP has paused intake to both the Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream and Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream as of April 26. No new applications can be submitted as of this date.
