Is USCIS Processing Immigration Applications?

Yes! The USCIS is still processing US immigration applications.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has suspended in-person services until at least April 1st. This was an effort to help slow the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

Although the in-person services, the USCIS is still processing immigration applications!

The only USCIS activities that are affected due to Coronavirus include:

  1. Field Office Appointments
  2. Application Support Center (ASC) Appointments and Rescheduling
  3. Asylum Appointment
  4. Naturalization Oath Ceremonies

You may still apply for visas and immigration programs to help you immigrate to the United States temporarily or permanently.
